A stunning traditional stone tower house which has been extended giving
stunning views of the sea and mountains. Situated in a quiet village only 2km to
the bay of Mezapos in the inner Mani. This house sits on approx 4000m2 of land
with 56 mature olive trees which produce about 100 litres of oil a year.
The feature to the front of the house is the three stone arches which give
wonderful views of the established floral gardens and mountains where you can
enjoy the magnificent sunrises. The house and land is enclosed by a stone wall
which includes a walk through gate and a large vehicle access gate. The area
around the house has been paved in traditional stone and has a raised sun deck,
pergola and a 8 by 4 .57meter vogue swimming pool. This comes with solar cover
and winter cover, filter pump and a heating system. There is also an outside
shower and fresh water drinking tap. This area has a number of trees providing
lots of shade in the summer.
The gate at the rear of the house leads into the land which is enclosed and has
storage area.
The kitchen has a fitted wood burning stove and a large gas range,fitted
cupboards and a granite sink. The floors are ceramic tiled. Mosaic tiling above
sink and units. The lounge is the oldest part of the house which has the
original arched ceiling , original size door and window. There is a tiled mosaic
on the floor and a wooden staircase leading to the upper floor and terraces.
The downstairs bedroom( currently used as a living room) has a wonderful stone
fire place and a door leading to the outide seating area at the front of the
house. There is a tv point which is connected to the satelite dish. The bathroom
has been modernised. It has corner bath and shower cubicle which is fitted with
a radio,light, fan and numerous water massage jets. The sink sits on a unit with
storage drawers and there is also glass shelving. There is a 65litre hot water
tank which is wall mounted. Solar heating provides 90% of the hot water required
each year. The solar tank carries 250 liters of water. There is plumbing for a
washing machine and room for a tumble dryer. A door gives access to the rear
outside area.
The upstairs has 1/2 bedrooms. Both with seperate terrace areas. One with views
of the mountians and surrounding villages and the other with fantastic views of
the fishing bay of Mezapos. A relaxing area to spend the evening watching the
sunset.
